Man killed his pregnant girlfriend on her due date after requesting time off for a family tragedy, according to prosecutors.

An Ohio man, Kayvon Warren, 30, has requested bereavement leave from his job to grieve for his pregnant girlfriend who was murdered.

Reports indicate that Warren, alongside a friend, was involved in the death of 26-year-old Indian Kinamore at her home in Colerain Township on March 4, 2023—the very day they were supposed to welcome their child. This came after Warren indicated his desire to take time off to mourn her loss, according to the Hamilton County prosecutor.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pilich remarked that this moment should have brought joy to Kinamore’s life rather than tragedy. She announced multiple charges, including a 13-count murder indictment against Warren and two others.

“It’s truly heartbreaking,” Pilich added, emphasizing the importance of seeking justice for both Kinamore and her unborn child.

Warren had reportedly faced financial difficulties and had tried to encourage Kinamore to terminate her pregnancy. Rather than supporting her, he allegedly hired two men, aged 20 and 22, to assist in the crime. The trio reportedly broke into Kinamore’s residence around 6 a.m., attempting to disguise the murder as a robbery gone wrong.

Authorities disclosed that after the shooting, all three suspects fled the scene. They have been charged with aggravated murder, robbery, and other felonies, with additional weapon charges for two of the men involved.

Warren is currently detained in county jail without bond following his arrest, while one of his accomplices is held on a $300,000 bond. The bail conditions for the third suspect are still unclear.

If convicted, all three could face significant prison time.
