Man Representing Karmelo Anthony Claims Rittenhouse Used AK-47

Claim: The “Minister” representing Carmelo Anthony claimed that Kyle Rittenhouse had shot a BLM mob with an AK-47.

Verdict: False in many ways.

Rittenhouse shot and killed two people on August 25th in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and injured a third. He was charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder and was acquitted on November 19, 2021 on all charges.

Contrary to Dominique Alexander’s claim, Rittenhouse was armed with an AR-15 rather than an AK-47. What’s more, the person he shot and injured, Gaige Paul Grosskretz, was shot in the arm, not in the back.

Associated Press It’s attracting attention During Rittenhouse’s trial, Grosscketz admitted that he was pointing to a gun at Rittenhouse when Rittenhouse shot him.

So… Rittenhouse didn’t shoot anyone with an AK-17 – he was carrying an AR-15, but he shot Grosskulletz with his arm, not his back.
