Man Who Was Cleared of Attempted Murder Charged Again for Allegedly Shooting Three Men with Car Issues

Florida Man Arrested for Triple Homicide

A man from Florida, 29 years old, was arrested Sunday, suspected of shooting three individuals in separate incidents. This comes after he was acquitted of attempted murder in 2021.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) reported that at 12:13 p.m. on Sunday, authorities received a call about a shooting in the Indian Point neighborhood near Kissimmee. Upon arrival, they allegedly discovered the bodies of three men outside a home. It appears that all three men had been fatally shot.

The suspect, identified as Ahmad Jihad Boje, was promptly arrested and is facing three counts of murder. He has been taken into custody at the Osceola County Jail.

Sheriff Christopher Blackmon reassured the public that there was no ongoing danger following Boje’s arrest. “The suspects in these horrific and senseless murders have been arrested by Osceola County deputies, and there is no threat to the community,” Blackmon stated.

Boje is accused of murdering Robert Louis Craft, 70, Douglas Joseph Craft, 68, and James John Pukan, 69. Family members revealed that the three men were in Florida for the Mecum Kerr Show and were renting an Airbnb. They mentioned that Boje had been glaring at the victims from a distance before the shootings occurred.

“There was no known interaction between the men and this individual prior to the incident. They were then approached and senselessly murdered. This was a random and tragic act,” the family explained.

Interestingly, the men were supposed to return home on Saturday, but an issue with their rental car forced them to stay longer in Florida. The shooting took place while they were waiting outside their Airbnb for a new rental vehicle.

This isn’t the first time Boje has faced legal trouble. Back in 2021, he was charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery after allegedly firing indiscriminately at people and cars in a gas station parking lot. He was found not guilty due to reasons of insanity.

The state attorney and Boje’s lawyers opted for a bench trial in the 2021 case, skipping a jury trial. They also sought outpatient treatment rather than admission to a mental health facility. Reports indicated Boje had past issues with drug-related charges, even as a teenager.

At his initial court appearance on Sunday, Boje was denied bail.

The Daily Caller reached out to OCSO for any comments but had not received a response as of the publication time.
