A Massachusetts man loves his mother more than ever after winning $1 million with a scratch off his mother’s Valentine’s Day card.

Matthew Broadley of Tyngsborough won a seven-figure prize Tuesday night in the Massachusetts Lottery’s “$4 Million Jumbo Cash” instant ticket game. According to lottery officials.

He received two Instant Win tickets from his mother and scratched off the winner around 11 p.m.

“Thank you, mom,” Broadley said as she went to the Dorchester with a Valentine’s Day card to collect her winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Lakeview General Store, 240 Lakeview Ave. in Tyngsborough. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for this ticket sale.

Broadley said he has no plans to use the fabric right away.
