A manhunt is underway in north London for a man believed to have been armed with a crossbow after three women, identified as BBC commentator John Hunt’s wife and two daughters, were killed inside a suburban home on Wednesday.
Hertfordshire Police said 26-year-old Kyle Clifford had been identified as a suspect in the triple murder, which is believed to have involved a crossbow or other weapon.
“Following this horrific incident, armed officers and specialist search teams have responded swiftly to the search operation,” Detective Superintendent John Simpson said.

John Hunt, a BBC radio horse racing commentator who has covered the world-famous Grand National and Derby races, had just returned home from a report from Lingfield Park racecourse in south London on Tuesday evening when he discovered the body, British media said.
Emergency personnel and police rushed to the scene to help the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Police have not said whether the victim had any relationship with Clifford, who is from London, but British media have reported that he was a former boyfriend of one of the daughters.
