Marc Anthony Misses Emme’s Graduation

It seems that Marc Anthony was absent from his child Emme’s high school graduation ceremony on Thursday.

While he was notably missing, Emme’s mother, Jennifer Lopez, her grandmother Guadalupe Rodriguez, and her former half-brother, Samuel, were there to cheer her on.

A photo shared by Page Six on Friday showed Emme, 18, chatting with Ben Affleck’s son Samuel, who is 14 years old.

Emme’s twin brother Max also attended the event, looking smart in a black outfit while Emme was the guest of honor in a tan suit, beaming with happiness.

Representatives for both Anthony and Lopez did not respond at the time to requests for comment regarding his absence.

Besides the twins, Anthony has five other children, including his youngest, Marco, who is 2 years old, with wife Nadia Ferreira.

Samuel was not the only supportive family member; he was seen talking with Emme, looking engaged as they appeared to check something on their phones together.

Earlier this year, the couple announced they were expecting their second child.

Anthony also has a daughter, Ariana (32), and a son, Chase (35), with ex Debbie Rosado, as well as sons Cristian (25) and Ryan (22) with Dayanara Torres.

Emme and Max are Lopez’s only children, born in 2008, three years before their parents split.

Lopez married Affleck in 2022, and despite their separation in 2024, they have maintained a good relationship with each other’s kids.

Affleck shares his children Samuel, Violet (20), and Seraphina (17) with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, and he recently took Emme and Max to the premiere of his film “The Accountant.”

During a red carpet event, Affleck expressed his happiness about the kids getting together, calling them all “amazing.”

As Emme’s graduation approached, Lopez shared her mixed feelings, revealing that she had been teary for two months thinking about the changes ahead.

Lopez also played down concerns about the twins leaving for college, saying, “They have big dreams; it’s going to be great.” Yet she joked about how they might initially find dorm life small and miss home, humorously hoping they would want to return soon.

Ultimately, for Lopez, the goal is to see her children happy and pursuing their dreams.
