Marco Rubio Takes on Wedding DJ Role

It seems Secretary of State Marco Rubio has taken on yet another responsibility within the Trump administration—this time, as a wedding DJ.

Dan Scavino, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, shared a moment from a family wedding on social media, saying, “Just moments ago, behind the scenes — our great Secretary of State @MarcoRubio DJ’s wedding too! Here he is in action tonight… Here we go!!!”

Rubio, who has been humorously dubbed the “Secretary of Everything,” has held a medley of positions within the administration, including national security adviser and chief archivist at the National Archives.

This gig marks a unique moment, as it’s the first time a Secretary of State has also served as national security adviser since Henry Kissinger during Nixon’s era.

In a snapshot, Rubio is seen hunched over a laptop at the DJ booth, focused on the task at hand, one ear pad of his headphones pressed tight against his ear. Meanwhile, guests at the Miami wedding were enjoying themselves, linking arms and dancing in a lively circle.

As he maintained his concentration, Rubio occasionally signaled to the DJ to adjust the tempo of the songs. It’s a vibrant scene, although the identity of the couple getting married remains unclear.

Interestingly, Rubio isn’t the only DJ who seems to enjoy taking center stage. President Trump, known for his love of music at parties held at Mar-a-Lago, has also made headlines as a DJ in his own right. He has a penchant for show tunes, but his most recognized track is probably “YMCA” by the Village People, which he affectionately calls the “gay national anthem.” Trump has even humorously noted that his wife, Melania, isn’t a fan of his dance moves during that song, playfully recounting her advice to him: “Darling, don’t dance. That’s not the president’s song.”
