Marine Corps vet pledged to gun down white people in chilling threats promising to ‘OD on adrenaline’: feds

Federal prosecutors say a black Marine Corps veteran threatened to “cause mayhem” by shooting white victims and went on a hateful rant for months, aspiring to “go on to become a serial killer.” He announced that he would continue.

In a social media post on December 17, 2022, Cobb allegedly said he had selected targets for armed attacks.

“I have not selected [sic] “Exact date, but certainly close to a holiday important to their race,” prosecutors said he wrote. “I already have a place in mind that I have frequented over the past year, and I am sure there is no armed person there who can stop me from spraying the ground.”

Mr. Cobb was grilled by federal agents and admitted to writing the messages, according to an 11-page federal complaint filed Friday. He also revealed details of the location he chose for the attack.

That included Jersey Strong Gym and Aldi grocery store in Robbinsville, Mercer County.

According to federal authorities, he warned in May 2023 that “my rampage is about to happen.” “We will continue to accumulate the equipment necessary for the execution. Once all the equipment arrives, time will tell. You will all die.”

Cobb, who was stationed in California with the Corps, wrote his first social media message in December 2022 and continued to post online using the name “1dayUsuffer” on TikTok and in numerous text messages for more than a year. Ta. He said no complaints.

Last month, federal agents seized Cobb’s cell phone and revealed all of his messages.

If convicted, he faces up to five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
