Marjorie Taylor Greene to Appear on “The View”

Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is set to join the cast of ABC’s “The View” next week.

Greene will appear on the show on Tuesday, November 4, which coincides with several elections taking place in various states. As a steadfast supporter of former President Donald Trump, her presence may spark discussions, particularly with the show’s more liberal co-hosts, including Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg. Notably, Alyssa Farah Griffin, although less liberal, has previously worked in the Trump White House.

Interestingly, Griffin has mentioned that she voted for a Democrat—Kamala Harris—in the last presidential election, which ultimately saw Trump winning.

Goldberg confirmed Greene’s appearance on the show during a recent episode.

“I’m not sure how much common ground we’ll find,” Goldberg said. “But there is one thing we can all agree on: it should not be affecting the American people.”

In a post on X, Greene expressed her excitement. “I look forward to joining the ladies on The View on Tuesday!” she wrote.

The announcement prompted a mix of reactions among conservatives. Some expressed surprise, suggesting that Greene’s appearance could be used to undermine Trump’s image. Greene defended herself in another post, pushing back against critics.

“There are pathetic Republican men (mostly paid social media influencers) attacking me for going on Bill Maher’s show and The View,” she wrote. “Here’s my voting card and nothing about me has changed; I’m 1,000,000% America ONLY.”

She included a screenshot of her Conservative Review Liberty Score, boasting a perfect score of 100%. Greene further asserted her independence from male Republican critics.

“Sorry, I’m not sorry, I refuse to be silenced by Republican men who want me to be seen but not heard,” she stated.

Greene is also scheduled to appear on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” later that same week.

Recently, she has been vocal in opposing her party’s strategies to resolve an ongoing government shutdown, particularly criticizing Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Senator Ted Cruz.

On the Senate side, Democrats have repeatedly blocked budget proposals aimed at continuing government funding unless they include extended subsidies for the Affordable Care Act, which are set to expire at the end of 2025.
