In September 2023, Hunter Biden was given a mistress deal for his crimes. While legal analysts, former federal prosecutors, law professors and lawyers raved about how disgraceful the case was, Mark Levin's response was basically a shrug. He knew it didn't matter because in the end Hunter would be pardoned.
“Of course Joe Biden intends to pardon his son even if he loses the election. … There is a period of time between becoming a lame duck president and swearing in a new president at Inauguration Day. He will pardon his son on September 22, 2023,” Levin predicted on September 22, 2023.
And he was right. That's exactly what happened. Joe Biden exonerated his son Hunter, despite repeatedly vowing not to do so.
Biden may love his son, but this sweeping pardon, which covers “things that have happened or may have happened over the course of 11 years,” is not a father's love or what Biden cited in his public statement. Levin knows it has nothing to do with “selective prosecution.” .
Biden did this, Levin said, “to cover up his own shortcomings.”
“The statute of limitations has probably expired on all cases by now.” [the crimes Hunter ‘might have done’]” he says. This part of the pardon “was unnecessary unless it was used as a witness against the father.”
And for those who think there's a statute of limitations on Joe Biden's potential crimes, Levin says that's not necessarily true.
“It depends. If his father was successful in hiding his activities, and the government found out and learned of those activities, the statute of limitations could run at the time the crime was discovered, so Joe “Biden wanted to make sure he was protected, starting with Burisma,” he explains.
