Martha Stewart can keep a secret.
The home and garden guru revealed this week that it was “so easy” to keep her recently revealed decades-long affair a secret.
“You have to be careful,” the 83-year-old told businesswoman Lee Brian Schrager on Wednesday night as she celebrated her 100th book. Ms. Schrager asked why she had kept the affair a secret for so many years and joked that it might be the subject of her next book.
The video of the interaction was posted by daily mail.

Earlier this month, in a trailer for her new Netflix documentary, Stewart admitted to having an affair with her only husband, Andrew Stewart, while they were married. Their marriage lasted from 1961 to 1990.
“Young women, take my advice: If you're married and your husband starts cheating, he's a terrible person,” Stewart says in the trailer. “Get out of that marriage.”
When a producer asked her, “Didn't you have an affair early on?” she replied, “Yes, but I don't think Andy knew about it.”
The new documentary covers Stewart's marriage, her rise in the lifestyle industry, and her legal troubles.

She added in the trailer that her career was going so well that “people thought I was crazy,” but it “worked out.”
