A caller on a New York City radio station is causing a stir by claiming that the Democratic Party is not fulfilling its promises to black Americans.
During an episode of New York's hugely popular hip-hop radio show “The Breakfast Club,” a caller seized the opportunity to convince black Americans to demand more from their politicians.
“Hey, I just want to say, brother, that [we’re] It's not a monolith. Black people think for themselves,” the caller began.
“I think at the end of the day, why we lost is because of the Democrats, man,” he continued. “They promised us, promised, promised us, and we're not getting anything in return, dude. And this is a new day, a new era. I As a black man, I feel like I should demand everything I want before I give up.'' It's our vote, dude. ”
“Maybe you need to change parties now or do something different.”
The caller then said “Get it off your chest” Black Americans should stop settling for “scum” from the Democratic Party.
“We've been sitting around for too long, giving and receiving crumbs, but now we need everything we ask for,” the caller continued. “It's probably a good thing that Trump won because it tells us whether he really took advantage of the policy.” [Barack] President Obama's economy. Will he save us from this economy? he asked.
The caller added that if President Trump spurs economic recovery, it's time for Black Americans to reconsider their votes.
“Maybe I need to change parties now or do something different. That's what I feel.”
According to fox newsAccording to exit polls, President Trump had a better approval rating among black voters than in the previous election, at 16%, an increase of 4 points from 2020. However, this includes 24% support from black men, twice as many who voted Republican during the Trump era. He was in conflict with President Biden.
Charlamagne, host of Power 105.1 radio, said in a caller that people who voted for Trump need to “encourage him to do what he promised to do.”
“if [the economy] If that doesn't get through to us at all, it doesn't matter,” the host continued.
In another clip from the show posted, ×asked the host rhetorically, why so many commentators seem to have stopped calling Trump and the Republican Party fascists since Trump was elected.
“Folks, don't you think it's strange that people aren't calling him a threat to democracy now that he's won? Aren't they calling him a fascist? … Isn't it strange that people aren't calling him a threat to democracy? “I just wonder how much of it was really believed, or how much of it was just politics,” he theorized.
