Medical examiner removed from position after insensitive post supporting Trump's 'big beautiful obituary'

A Florida medical examiner has been put on leave after expressing an eagerness for President Trump’s death in a harsh social media post.

Dr. Bob Frazgraf, an associate coroner for the Duval County Medical Examiner’s Office, mentioned on X that he was “looking forward to a big, beautiful obituary,” seemingly alluding to Trump’s “big, beautiful bill law.”

Following the incident, he was swiftly removed from his position on Tuesday as the city launched an investigation.

A spokesperson for the city confirmed, “Associate Medical Examiner Bob Frazgraf has been placed on administrative leave while we investigate the circumstances surrounding the social media posts.”

This controversial post gained traction just after midnight on Monday and was later shared by a conservative TikTok account. His account is now private, and he indicated that he would await the city’s response before making further comments.

Reports suggest that he is among the city’s highest-paid employees, with an annual salary of $306,653.

Dr. Frazgraf earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University School of Medicine in 1984 and has been with the Duval County Coroner’s Office since 2020.

He had previously faced criticism in May 2021 when he was arrested for suspected drunk driving and reportedly threatened another driver, insisting, “Do you know who I am?” when confronted by law enforcement.

Ultimately, he pleaded no contest to the charges and was sentenced to a year of probation. Frazgraf is currently licensed to practice in Florida, Ohio, and New Mexico, with his medical license set to expire in January 2027.
