Megyn Kelly rips MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ hosts for meeting with Trump

Megyn Kelly slams MSNBC's Morning Joe hosts and Donald Trump detractors Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, revealing on the show that she met with the president-elect in Florida on Monday morning. He later criticized the incident as a “disingenuous joke.”

“What a ridiculous travesty,” she said in response to the pair's contact with Trump, who told viewers they had met “privately.”

Mr. Scarborough, 61, and Mr. Brzezinski, 57, repeatedly accused President Trump of being a racist and fascist in the lead-up to his decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris on Election Day. In light of this, both men have faced harsh criticism from commentators on the left and right.

Kelly noted that the co-hosts initially helped build momentum for Trump's first run since Trump's continued appearance on the show in 2015. She even played footage of Scarborough saying he was open to being President Trump's running mate, before taking a shot at the 45th president.

“I'm sick to my stomach, it's turning my stomach,” the former Fox News host, 54, said while featuring journalist Glenn Greenwald on his show. “They're really disgusting.”

“And what happened was that Joe Scarborough found out he wasn't going to be the vice presidential candidate,” she claimed.

“He had been denied that position, so they turned around and turned to Trump, because access to power is everything to that tiny little guy.”

Kelly has sparred with former congressman Scarborough and Brezin over their support for President Biden, despite questions swirling about the 81-year-old Democrat's cognitive abilities in the lead up to the train-wreck debate against Trump in late June. criticized Mr. Ski.

“Literally no one wants to see this fence mended,” Kelly said of Scarborough and Trump meeting again.

Brzezinski defended his decision to meet with President Trump, 78, on Monday, noting that the controversy surrounding the next president did not stop people from voting for Trump over Harris.

“Joe and I recognize that it's time to do something different, and that starts with not just talking about Donald Trump, but talking to him,” she said.

“Don't get me wrong, we're not here to defend or normalize Donald Trump,” Scarborough added during the show.
