Melania Trump Initiates Global Coalition for Children’s Education and Technology
First Lady Melania Trump has formed a coalition with world leaders and technology executives aimed at enhancing the education and empowerment of children through new technologies such as AI. The initiative, called Growing Our Future Together, unites 45 countries along with 28 tech companies to work under the First Lady’s guidance for the benefit of children globally.
“As a people, we dream. As leaders, we progress. As a nation, we build,” President Melania Trump stated at the inaugural gathering of the Growing Our Future Together initiative, which kicked off a two-day summit.
During the summit, she urged representatives from the 45 nations and the tech sector to collaborate in improving access to education and technology for children worldwide.
She emphasized, “Starting today, let us accelerate this bond, our new global alliance, to positively impact the progress of our children. Our mission is to empower children by providing them with better access to technology and education.”
The First Lady described the moment as historic, highlighting that a key part of her goal is to equip young people with the necessary skills to thrive in a quickly changing world.
The initiative serves to create innovative learning programs, advocate for supportive education policies, and foster strong partnerships between public and private sectors, according to President Trump.
Melania Trump remarked that each participant has a crucial role in shaping technological opportunities for the next generation. She encouraged attendees to leverage their exceptional abilities to uplift children, empower communities, and stimulate economic growth.
Representatives from major tech firms including Microsoft, Google, and OpenAI were present at the meeting.
Author Wynton Hall, in his new book, discusses the significance of Melania Trump’s vision for AI in education. The White House Education Pledge aims to prompt leading tech companies to invest in AI literacy for K-12 education, particularly as recent assessments showed a concerning drop in reading and math proficiency due to pandemic-related school closures.
Hall acknowledges that the initiative could help bridge educational gaps, stating that machine learning could provide customized AI tutoring to all students, regardless of their economic background or location. He cited studies demonstrating significant improvements in learning outcomes when students used AI tutoring solutions.
Breitbart News will keep following the First Lady’s initiatives aimed at safeguarding and empowering children through technological means.
