Message from Dallas Sniper Expressed Desire for Attack to Instill Fear in ICE Agents

FBI Director Kash Patel stated that a memo left by the Dallas Sniper indicated that the attack aimed to instill “real fear” in ICE agents.

Patel noted in a post, “One of the handwritten notes found reads, ‘Hopefully, this will give the ICE agents real fear.’ It also questions, ‘Are there any AP snipers?'”

He added, “The evidence gathered so far suggests a well-planned approach to the attack.”

The shooting occurred around 6:40 am on Wednesday, resulting in one fatality and two injuries, with no ICE agents harmed during the incident.

The 29-year-old suspect took his own life.

Breitbart News referenced a New York Post article highlighting that the suspect’s mother had made several anti-gun comments aimed at the Republican Party in the past.

Her comments came shortly after the Uvalde school shooting on May 24, 2022, where she criticized Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Sen. John Cornyn for their stances on gun control.

She wrote, “Every time you accept blood money from the gun lobby, think of the consequences. Especially when you attend an NRA meeting shortly after.”

Interestingly, Cornyn eventually supported gun control measures and collaborated with Democrats on a bipartisan law aimed at community safety.
