The Mexican government has promoted the “cartel's strict” propaganda business through US media outlets, while also protecting some of the currently active cartel bosses. Breitbart Texas has extensively reported on half the truth about the Mexican government's exaggeration and enforcement actions. Breitbart article highlighted Continuous protection of Mexico for leaders like El Mencho, a new generation boss of Cartel Jalisco. New York Times In a recent article, I fell into this PR strategy and argued Cartels are afraid.
Despite allegations that it is strict with cartels, Mexican authorities continue to protect top cartel bosses. One example is the current leader of Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) Nemesio “Elmencho” Osseguera, a personal friend of Mexican Secretary of Defense Ricardo Trevira Trejo. As first reported by Brandon Darby, co-founder of Cartel Chronicles Breitbart News Daily Episode 715, in his military history, Trevila Trejo was a Mexican general assigned to Michoacan, where he interacted with the top boss of the cartel and became friends with Osseguera and others.
Despite CJNG being one of Mexico's most violent criminal organizations, the country's security equipment is not directly eschewing conflicts with gunmen and chasing the organization's top leadership. This is despite the US government repeatedly sharing locations and hideouts of Elmenchos in Jalisco, Colima and Guanajuato.
In a similar way, despite the fierce lawn war between the Chapitos and Mailos factions of the Sinaloa Cartel, Mexican security equipment avoided chasing the leaders of those factions, despite the US intelligence agency deploying the leaders of Los Mayos in Baja California and, more recently, in Durango. The United States also reported on the location of Roschapitos' leadership in various rural communities in Sinaloa.
The Mexican government is promoting propaganda operations in the US media market. for example, New York Times Mexican drug cartels have falsely argued that they feared the Trump administration's recent designation of terrorists. In reality, this story is part of a propaganda strategy promoted by the Mexican government, which aims to avoid tariffs and other punitive measures that severely hinder the country's economy due to its extremely protective role for its drug cartels.
“News Story”Trump's threat and Mexican crackdowns clash with Mexican cartels,” New York Times He claimed he spoke to six members of the Sinaloa cartel. The Sinaloa Cartel claimed that for the first time it was terrified, and began taking steps to protect its family and shut down fentanyl labs.
The story is based almost entirely on unknown cartel sources, further claiming that Mexico failed to deploy more than 10,000 National Guards to the border, and the relocation of 29 prisoners last week was a clear signal that Mexico was eager to fight the cartel.
The era It appears to have fallen due to a PR strategy promoted by the Mexican government. This was previously reported by Breitbart Texas last month. The PR strategy aims to soften the Trump administration after the White House accused Mexico of Narco, where political elites protect drug cartels. At the time of these comments, US President Donald Trump threatened Mexico with tariffs and other punitive measures. Soon, he gave them 30 days to clean up their actions.
One of the first steps taken by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum was to announce its deployment to a 10,000-person border to the Northern Border to stop cartel violence and drug trafficking. Historically, Mexican NG has been severely criticized for following the “non-embracing bullet” strategy launched by former President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, for its poor outcome and aggressively avoiding cartel clashes.
Over the past few months, Mexico has decorated arrests and operations as a way to claim to be fighting the very cartels that have been protected for years.
All security businesses in Mexico are led by the country's public security secretary Omar Garcia Halfucci. As reported by Breitbart Texas, Harfuch exaggerates the ranks of captured mid-level cartel members, making them appear like a top tier operator. Furthermore, he argued that his security forces were seizing numerous armored vehicles when, in fact, they gathered abandoned vehicles after rival cartel forces collided in bloody battles.
In their stories, The era It was not possible to point out that the closure of the fentanyl laboratory in Sinaloa was primarily linked to a fierce lawn war with Chapitos and mayonnaise rival cartels. Both of these factions share a history of receiving government protection.
