Michael Rapaport Rips Gavin Newsom Over L.A. Fire Response: ‘Trump-Proofing California? Try Fire-Proofing’

Comedian and actor Michael Rapaport criticized California Democratic Governor Gaine Newsom and the state Legislature for pouring $50 million into the state's “anti-Trump” package even as wildfires continue to ravage Los Angeles. .

Rapaport said that even though fires are still destroying lives and homes in Los Angeles, the governor, Fox News reports, said the state legislature had gathered to address Trump and was more focused on helping his own citizens. He also seemed concerned about spending millions of taxpayer dollars on a political campaign against the next president.

The actor specifically focused on Newsom, who dreams of running for president in 2027, and slammed him. I'm saying“You can't be wrong anymore, it's over!”.

Rappaport accused “gavin newsom with the good hair” of worrying about “anti-Trump” the state instead of worrying about making the state fire safe.

He also insisted that Newsom, who led the destruction of San Francisco and Los Angeles, will never become president.

“You're talking about Trump with this, Trump. He's not even president,” Rappaport said.

Rapaport, who is no fan of Donald Trump, mocked Newsom and said testily, “Next time you'll do better.” We need to learn from our mistakes. ” He added, “Fuck you, get out of here!”

“You're not running for sixth-grade class president. Those days are over,” he said, referring to Newsom as “Nancy's nephew.”

“What a nice old shitty artist you are,” he cried.

Rapaport has spent years attacking Donald Trump in no uncertain terms, often with videos containing expletives. However, after the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, when the Democratic Party and much of the left turned against Israel in a pinch, the actor changed his attitude toward Trump and the Republican Party and became disillusioned with the Democratic Party. He also disliked the tendency on the left to call Trump and Republicans “Nazis” and compare them to “Hitler.”
