Michelle Beadle just wanted to be transparent.
The FanDuel TV host appeared to jokingly explain that she was not the “Michelle” that was causing online buzz after Shannon Sharpe went viral on Wednesday after posting an Instagram Live video that included audio of her having sex with an unnamed woman.
Later that day, Sharpe spoke about the incident on his “Nightcap” podcast with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, with Johnson saying he was glad that “it was Michelle who was involved in this situation and not Michael.”
“That's not me.” Beadle wrote: X adds a smiley face emoji.
Former ESPN personality Jemele Hill Reply“wife.”
NFL Network reporter Jane Slater Added“Marked as safe.”
In another post, Beadle says“I just wanted to be transparent.”
Mr Beadle, known for being a sarcastic person, was clearly joking.
No one was seen on camera during the Instagram Live broadcast, only audio, but at one point a male voice can be heard saying: “That's my Michelle.According to Larry Brown Sports:
Sharp explained that it was important for him to take responsibility for accidentally posting a private, intimate moment on social media.
The Pro Football Hall of Famer reportedly contacted his agent and his employer, ESPN, to let them know he intended to address the issue publicly.
“I said, ‘I just had to tell the truth,’” Sharp said. “My phone wasn’t hacked, it wasn’t a prank.
“I was a healthy, active man. People would have thought I was lying. Come on, uncle, tell me the truth.”
Sharpe explained that someone on the team acted quickly and posted that the ESPN star had been hacked.
But Sharp said he had deleted the post.
“I was engrossed in some activity and tossed my phone on the bed,” Sharp said. “I didn't know about Instagram Live. I'd never had Instagram Live on so I didn't know how it worked, and all of a sudden my other phone started ringing.”
Sharp admitted he was embarrassed. I was disappointed in myself.
“He's an extremely private person and for the audio, one of his most private details, to be made public for the entire world to see is embarrassing for a number of reasons,” he said.
“There are a lot of people who expect Shannon to be professional at all times, and I strive to be professional at all times, even behind closed doors. … I'm very disappointed in myself, not in the conduct, but in the fact that there are millions, maybe billions, of people of consenting age involved in the conduct, and I'm disappointed in myself that the audio was heard. I've let a lot of people down.”
Sharp said his marketing partner, Jamie Fritz, alerted him to the situation and someone eventually ended the live video.
