Michelle Pfeiffer’s Secret to Aging Gracefully
Hollywood icon Michelle Pfeiffer demonstrates that looking radiant as you age doesn’t have to be complicated. In a recent interview for Paramount+’s new series “The Madison,” she shared her key to beauty: a blend of good genes, healthy habits, and a positive mindset.
At 67 years old, Pfeiffer expressed, with a laugh, that her health routine is quite simple. “I have really good genetics. My mother and sisters… well, I take care of myself, eat well, and I gave up smoking early,” she noted.
Co-star Kurt Russell, 74, chimed in with humor, affirming that maintaining health is indeed manageable. When asked about her essential beauty habits, Pfeiffer emphasized the importance of consistency and small yet impactful routines that help her maintain her glow.
“Honestly, exercise is the best for your skin, brain, and really for everything,” she remarked. “If there’s one thing you can do to look good, it’s exercise. Sweating—even a little daily—is crucial.” Pfeiffer added that she takes this advice to heart, stating that she sweats a lot and finds it beneficial.
As she dives back into television with “The Madison,” a family drama exploring love and resilience, Pfeiffer looks forward to sharing the screen with Russell once again. She humorously commented on their collaboration, saying, “Well, because I always want to be with Kurt.” Their prior work together left her wanting more scenes, a wish now fulfilled.
For Pfeiffer, the cast’s admiration for her and Russell is evident. Co-stars expressed how surreal it feels to work alongside such celebrated talents, noting that their warmth and grounded nature make the process enjoyable. Patrick J. Adams, known for “Suits,” admired Pfeiffer and Russell, calling them “the best of the best,” and appreciated their dedication to their craft.
In “The Madison,” Pfeiffer portrays Stacey Clyburn, the matriarch, while Russell plays her husband, Preston Clyburn. Both are also executive producers of the show, highlighting their significant roles in the production. “The Madison” is now available for streaming on Paramount+, with the final three episodes set to premiere on March 21st.
