In a series of airstrikes overnight, Gaza’s southern city of Khan Younis experienced attack after attack, resulting in over 50 fatalities on what marked the second consecutive night of intense bombing. Among the deceased was Hasan Samour, a journalist for Al Araby TV, who tragically lost his life alongside eleven family members during a strike in Khan Younis.
This escalation came after a deadly Wednesday that saw at least 70 people killed in similar airstrikes across northern and southern Gaza.
