Texas Teacher Accused of Sexting Students

A middle school art teacher from Texas, Haley Radabaugh, is facing serious allegations of sexting with at least three students, including a 14-year-old boy he referred to as “baby.” Arrest warrants detail these accusations.

Radabaugh, 28, who taught at Barbara Bush Middle School, was initially arrested last month on a grooming charge. She was re-arrested on Friday for a more serious charge concerning an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student, as reported by Texas Scorecard.

The arrest affidavit claims she is “known to have had inappropriate sexual conversations with at least three middle school students” and allegedly provided drugs to them, according to reports from NBC.

Radabaugh’s first arrest occurred on May 15, shortly after she reportedly sent suggestive messages to the young boy. During a police interview, she mentioned to him that there was a girl he had a crush on before him.

She is accused of suggesting that if he sent her a picture, she would reciprocate. In one message, she allegedly sent a photo of someone appearing to be her exiting the shower, capturing the image from the chest up.

These messages were capped off with a “flirty kiss emoji,” and she frequently called him “baby.” The boy later told authorities he felt “sick and unable to sleep” after receiving such messages.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, the warrant notes that Radabaugh is “known to have engaged in inappropriate sexual conversations” with multiple students and is said to have provided drugs, as reported by those who alerted staff about her behavior.

The charges have been elevated to include an inappropriate relationship with a student, which could lead to a substantial prison sentence of up to 20 years.

While police have stated that the victims are minors, they did not elaborate further on the specifics of her interactions with other students.

As of now, she is no longer employed by the Carrollton Farmers Branch School District.
