A violent illegal immigrant arrested for participating in a mob attack on two New York City police officers turned on waiting reporters as he was released from custody Wednesday.
Joan Boada, 22, carried out a shocking assault in Times Square, near an immigrant shelter, on Saturday, using her hands in an aggressive attack after being released from police custody on charges of assaulting a police officer and gang assault. I made a sign.
Boada appeared unconcerned by the serious charges as he flashed two middle fingers and grinned at reporters and photographers outside the Midtown South Police Station in Manhattan. He left the station wearing a black Los Angeles Lakers shirt and khakis, and had a tattoo on his left forearm.

Boada and several other illegal immigrants attacked an NYPD police officer and lieutenant just outside the New Amsterdam Theater, a popular tourist attraction. The attack, which was caught on camera, sparked widespread condemnation.
Seven undocumented immigrants are currently facing charges in connection with the attack.
Darwin Andres Gomez Izquiel, 19, Kelvin Servat Arocha, 19, Juarez Wilson, 21, and Yeoman Rebelon, 24, were arrested earlier this week by police. He was charged with various charges including assault, gang assault, obstruction of administration, and disturbing the peace.
The NYPD told FOX News Digital on Thursday that two immigrants were also arrested, bringing the total number of arrests to seven. Yohenry Brito, 24, and Jandry Barros, 21, were arrested and both charged with robbery and assault with serious bodily injury.
In the video, NYPD officers asked the migrants to move, but a scuffle ensued, with officers seen trying to push a person wearing a yellow jacket to the ground.

The footage then shows a hooded suspect wearing a backpack kicking the officer twice in the head as he grapples to the ground, while another suspect wearing a red top kicks him in the back.
As the struggle continued, the suspect wearing a red jacket returned and kicked the other officer in the back.
A second hooded suspect wearing a backpack then arrived at the scene and delivered a large swinging kick to the officer’s head. The migrant tried to kick him and fell to the ground.
The suspects were then seen running away. Police said the unidentified officers suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. One police officer suffered cuts to his face and another sustained bruises to his body, officials said.

The NYPD said it was still searching for at least two other suspects.
NYPD Sergeant John Chell said at a press conference Wednesday that Saturday’s attack was “reprehensible” but called the suspect, who punched and kicked officers, a “coward.”
“You saw the video,” Chell said. “Eight people are attacking the lieutenant and the police officer. They’re running up to them and trying to kick them in the face.”
