Mike Tyson suffers medical scare on flight ahead of fight with Jake Paul: reports

Boxing legend Mike Tyson suffered a health crisis on Sunday after experiencing nausea, dizziness and other symptoms on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, his representative told the New York Post.

But his team say he is “doing well” after the incident shortly before landing.

“30 minutes before landing, his ulcer worsened, causing him to become nauseous and dizzy,” a representative said in an email to The Washington Post. “He is grateful to the medical staff who rushed to his aid.”

“Air conditioning issues” were also added in the email to The Washington Post.

In Touch Weekly was first to report Tyson’s critical condition, which the publication classified as a “medical emergency.”

“Mike suffered some sort of medical emergency on the flight and paramedics were sent on board,” a source told In Touch Weekly. “Before the paramedics arrived, an announcement was made on board asking for a doctor and the message was shown on everyone’s screens.”

It certainly must have been a frightening moment for all involved, who had no idea what Tyson was going through. Luckily, Tyson seems to be doing much better.

This is an ongoing story, more to come.
