Miller claimed that Biden's use of an autopen has added to the border crisis.

Former President Joe Biden faces criticism regarding his use of autopens, which Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, claims allowed “lower classes under sadistic crime” to enter the United States amid his administration’s border policies.

Biden’s use of the autopen has raised eyebrows, especially with former President Donald Trump asserting that many of the pardons Biden signed were not valid. Trump suggests that Biden lacked awareness of the documents he was approving through automated devices.

Miller remarked in an interview that, under Biden, the Democrats have created a “puppet presidency,” using the autopen to resettle what he described as dangerous criminals. He further criticized left-leaning policies that he argues are detrimental to American citizens.

In a related context, Miller’s comments came after reports from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) surfaced regarding a suspect involved in an attack on an unofficial border guard in New York City, who had allegedly entered the U.S. illegally during Biden’s presidency. Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez reportedly crossed the border in April 2023 and had an outstanding criminal warrant for armed robbery from February of the same year.

Throughout his term, Biden issued several executive orders on immigration, including proposals aimed at reuniting families and creating pathways to citizenship for undocumented immigrants married to U.S. citizens. However, a federal judge blocked these efforts in November 2024, citing violations of immigration laws.

When asked for clarification on Miller’s allegations, the White House did not specify which order was under discussion, but Biden mentioned he has relied on autopens for various presidential tasks.

White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson claimed that Biden’s management of the border and immigration issues has been through an autopen, questioning the legitimacy of the former president’s critiques.

There hasn’t been a direct response to Fox News from Biden’s camp regarding these allegations. Meanwhile, discussions continue around the implications of his autopen usage, particularly concerning the numerous pardons he issued towards the end of his presidency. These included preemptive pardons on his last day in office and also targeted individuals like Dr. Anthony Fauci and former Chairman Mark Milley.

Multiple investigations are reportedly looking into Biden’s autopen usage, exploring concerns regarding his mental fitness along with the pardons and policies enacted during his administration.
