A 72-year-old American man went missing while traveling on the Princess Cruises, and authorities believe he fell while on board.
The search began around 7 a.m. Monday after the Ruby Princess cruise ship docked in San Francisco and crew members realized they could not find the man on board, the cruise line said.
The cruise ship set sail for Ensenada, Mexico on November 27th.

The man was alone on the cruise. It remains unclear when he went too far.
A spokesperson for the cruise line said: “Princess worked with local authorities throughout the day. CCTV footage was also thoroughly examined and the ship was thoroughly searched multiple times without success.” new york post.

The spokesperson added, “Having ruled out other possibilities, this time it will be treated as a personal injury accident.''
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is investigating the incident, a cruise line spokesperson said. told KTVU. A spokeswoman said Princess Cruises is cooperating with authorities in the investigation.

The U.S. Coast Guard told the program that it had called off the search for the missing person as of around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
