Mobile DNC billboard at Trump event to feature Harris crowd size jab

A mobile Democratic National Committee sign set to debut outside an event featuring former President Trump in Arizona will feature recent comments by Vice President Harris criticizing the former president over rally crowd sizes.

The billboards will feature video of Harris' comments from Tuesday's debate, in which she criticized Trump's rallies, according to an email from the DNC.

“I encourage you to go to a Donald Trump rally because they're really entertaining to watch,” Harris said during the ABC News debate.

“He'll talk about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. He'll talk about windmills causing cancer,” she continued. “You'll also notice that people will start leaving his meetings early out of fatigue and boredom. And the one thing he won't talk about is you.”

According to the DNC, the signs will be posted around Tucson Music Hall from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time.

“Donald Trump's unpopular Project 2025 policies would weaponize the federal government, giving him the power to punish his political opponents and intruding into our daily lives,” Democratic National Committee spokesman Cameron Niven said in an email. “No matter what Trump says tonight, it will not focus on the issues that matter to Arizonans. Vice President Kamala Harris is the only candidate prepared to fight for Arizonans and be a national president.”

Trump plans to deliver Statement on the economy and housing on Thursday at Tucson Music Hall, according to his campaign website.

Harris was seen by many as a success in Tuesday's debate, with a flash CNN poll showing 63% of registered voters said she performed better in the debate, while only 37% said the same about Trump.

But House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) said Wednesday that Trump “clearly won” the debate.

“Let me state bluntly: President Donald Trump is the current presidential debate champion. He won last night's debate 3-1, and he clearly won it,” Johnson said on Fox Business Network.

The Hill has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
