Accident Claims Life of Russian Model Kseniya Alexandrova

Reports indicate that 30-year-old Kseniya Alexandrova, a former Miss Universe contestant, passed away last week due to severe injuries sustained in an accident involving a moose that crashed through the windshield of her Porsche.

Alexandrova’s tragic accident happened while she was driving with her husband on July 5th, on a highway in Russia. She was hospitalized and remained in a coma until her death on August 12th.

According to the report, the couple had just returned from a trip when the incident occurred. The unnamed husband mentioned that he couldn’t react in time as the animal unexpectedly leapt in front of their vehicle. Both were wearing seatbelts and driving at a low speed when the crash happened.

He described the harrowing moment of the impact: “It was shock. I didn’t have time to do anything,” he said, detailing how Alexandrova, seated in the passenger side, suffered severe head injuries as the moose struck.

“She was unconscious, her head was broken, everything was covered in blood. She sustained an open skull brain injury,” he added, recounting the immediate aftermath of the collision.

Just months before the accident, the couple had celebrated their marriage. Additionally, Alexandrova was a psychologist, having received her degree from a Moscow college, as noted in a post she shared on social media in November 2022.

She had represented Russia at the 2017 Miss Universe Pageant, achieving a noteworthy finish after placing second in the Miss Russia contest earlier that same year. Her modeling agency, Modus Vivendis, confirmed her death with a heartfelt statement, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of a talented and inspiring individual.

“Ksenia was bright and talented. She knew how to inspire, support, and warm everyone around her,” the agency reflected in their announcement.
