Elisabetta Ferret Located in New York City
A former model and Jeffrey Epstein survivor, Elisabetta Ferret, has been found safe in New York City after going missing. The news prompted concern when she abruptly lost contact with her family on April 22.
Reports from Italian media indicate that Ferret, 50, had been in daily touch with her family, especially her elderly mother, until that date. It was noted that she traveled from the U.S. to Veneto in northeastern Italy to visit her family earlier in April before returning to New York later that month.
Her family grew worried when they couldn’t reach her by phone, and her social media accounts appeared to be inactive, leading them to report her missing.
Authorities, including the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, worked alongside U.S. officials to locate her. The Carabinieri, Italy’s military police, confirmed on Tuesday that she was safely found.
Interestingly, law enforcement sources mentioned that there was no official missing persons record for Ferret in New York.
Ferret, who accused Epstein of sexual abuse in the past, discussed her traumatic experience during a 2019 interview. She recounted being sent to Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse by someone who promised it would “change her life” and lead to a modeling opportunity.
However, that meeting turned alarming when Epstein began to undress and approached her while preparing for a massage. “I thought someone was going to give him a massage,” she recalled. He then handed her a sex toy, at which point she panicked, threw the vibrator at him, and fled the room.
In a harrowing escape attempt, Ferret described being stopped by a woman resembling Ghislaine Maxwell, who questioned her presence and stated that Epstein was an important person, a friend of President Clinton.
