Moj Mahdara, an Iranian-American advocate, criticizes Democrats for their response to Iran.

Iranian-American advocate Moj Mahdallah urged the Democratic Party to take notice this past Sunday, expressing disappointment over their reactions to U.S. and Israeli actions against Iran. He emphasized the need for Democrats to move past their disdain for Donald Trump and focus on national security issues in the Middle East.

During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Mahdallah stated, “This is about national security. It’s about being a good neighbor to the Gulf states and understanding their aspirations.” His comments came as the U.S. and Israel commenced a significant joint military operation called Operation Epic Fury, which has reportedly resulted in the deaths of key Iranian figures, including the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“Dismantling this regime will usher in changes not just in the Middle East but also in places like Venezuela, China, and Ukraine,” he remarked, drawing comparisons to monumental historical events like the end of the Soviet Union and the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Despite being a Democrat, Mahdallah conveyed feelings of disillusionment towards his party’s current stance, saying, “I’m incredibly disappointed in my party. I don’t see myself in them right now.” He expressed a need for Americans to embrace this moment for the sake of security and humanity.

On “Fox & Friends,” Mahdallah elaborated on the sentiments of the Iranian populace, asserting that most Iranians don’t support a regime that has caused immense suffering, including the deaths and imprisonment of thousands. He also spoke about feeling ashamed by the actions and representations of his nation.

“Things had to change, and sadly, this is the reality now,” Mahdallah stated, highlighting the importance of the message from President Trump regarding Iran’s threat to both America and global stability.

In the same discussion, journalist and activist Masih Alinejad criticized New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani for his supportive tweets towards the Islamic Republic, stating that he failed to condemn the ongoing violence. Alinejad reflected on her experience in New York, noting the kindness she received from various communities, indicating a shared humanitarian spirit that transcends political lines.

In her statements, Alinejad called for unity among Americans to support human rights and global security, highlighting the need for political leaders from both parties to come together in times of crisis.
