“Morning Joe” has lost viewers every day since it began airing on Monday, with Wednesday's viewership down 43% from its year-to-date average.
Many of the viewers who are abandoning “Morning Joe” are adults between the ages of 25 and 54, a demographic coveted by advertisers, even though the show averaged 67,000 demo viewers in 2024. , there were just 26,000 people on Wednesday, a staggering 61% drop.
Many prominent liberals, including some MSNBC staffers, are furious with Scarborough and Brzezinski for meeting with President Trump. Leftist Washington Post columnist and MSNBC contributor Jennifer Rubin urged viewers to stop watching the show, and comedian Rosie O'Donnell said in a TikTok post that she was done with the show.
