Mossad Chief Highlights Iran Operations

The leader of Mossad, Israel’s well-known intelligence agency, stated that they have untapped capabilities within Iran. These capabilities have yet to be used. This announcement was made during a recent awards ceremony.

David Barnea, the head of Mossad, expressed concerns that spy operations are ongoing, even from the “heart of Tehran,” while Israel is currently involved in a conflict with Iran that has stretched over 12 days.

“We won, and we will continue to win,” Barnea asserted at the Prime Minister’s Awards ceremony, where Mossad was recognized for its ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of Israeli citizens.

He noted, “We have demonstrated that Iran is relatively accessible, and we’ve not lost hope. Mossad’s operational capabilities are not just robust; they’re more innovative and powerful than before, particularly in Iran and right in Tehran.”

This event, which included Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, took place on September 17, marking the first anniversary of Operation Beeper. This notable operation reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least nine individuals and injuries to numerous Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon.

“We will keep developing and strengthening our capabilities concerning Iran, remaining vigilant about what is being concealed within its borders,” Barnea told attendees. He emphasized that they will not permit any threats to national security.

Netanyahu praised the 12-day operation, which significantly impacted Iran’s air defense and nuclear facilities.

During the ceremony, lamenting the considerable effort involved in the operation, Netanyahu declared it to be “Operation Rying Glioon.” The name, he explained, symbolizes a collective awakening among the people.

Still, he warned that Iran represents a substantial danger to the region, and Mossad remains focused on thwarting Tehran’s nuclear aspirations. Netanyahu remarked, “If we didn’t take action within a year, this threat would loom over us and potentially devastate our nation. Thus, immediate action was necessary.”
