Marjorie Taylor Greene Responds to Trump

Outgoing Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia has fired back at former President Donald Trump, asserting her commitment to the “America First” movement.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump claimed that Greene had betrayed the MAGA movement due to a personal vendetta. He dismissed her viewpoints as lacking seriousness. Greene respondingly shared a graphic depicting political donations attributed to her and Trump, highlighting that her name had $0.00 against it, while Trump was linked to over $230 million in donations.

“I’m America First. 🇺🇸 Thank you for bringing this to my attention,” Greene remarked.

Since 2020, pro-Israel entities have reportedly contributed more than $230 million to support Trump, according to Track AIPAC. Although there’s no credible evidence of Greene receiving direct donations from these groups, her campaign has raised millions through individual donors and political action committees, particularly those aligned with conservative and MAGA candidates.

In a detailed statement, Trump criticized Greene, labeling her a “traitor” for abandoning the MAGA principles and even poked fun at her recent feature on “60 Minutes.” He noted her sudden change of heart on certain issues.

During her “60 Minutes” appearance, Greene disclosed that she had faced serious threats, including pipe bombs at her residence and numerous death threats against her son after Trump had branded her a “traitor.” She made these statements while responding to a question from CBS News correspondent Leslie Stahl regarding her reasons for exiting Congress.
