The family acknowledged that they “lost Eli to the insidious disease of drug addiction,” and added, “We are so grateful for your support and generosity. Thank you for helping us honor Eli’s memory and continue his legacy of kindness.” Authorities have not determined what drug caused Anderson’s death.
Over the past decade, the drug fentanyl has devastated American families and communities, causing countless deaths as a common drug is laced with a powerful opioid. Many infants and young children have died from fentanyl overdoses.
In a bestselling book Blood Money, Peter Schweitzer, chairman of GAI and a senior contributor to Breitbart News, says the Chinese government is using fentanyl as a weapon against the U.S. In an interview, he explained that China is more responsible for fentanyl in the U.S. than Mexican drug cartels.
“Many of the people involved in the fentanyl trade are actually high-ranking officials in the Chinese Communist Party. [Chinese Communist Party] “They may be advisors to the Chinese Communist government, but every link in the fentanyl chain that’s addicted to 100,000 Americans is a Chinese operation,” Schweitzer said, explaining that the Mexican cartels are “actually junior partners.”
The book also discusses China’s ties to the fentanyl trade and President Joe Biden. The Biden family worked with a Chinese businessman named Ye Jianming, who lavished Hunter Biden with gifts, including a three-carat diamond worth $80,000, and gave the family a $5 million interest-free loan. Ye was also a business partner of Zhang Anle, known as “White Wolf.” Zhang Anle’s gang helped consolidate the power of Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel by developing a pipeline to distribute fentanyl to the United States.
