Fox News previewed President Trump's immigration policies, including deploying troops to the border, ending Biden-era parole policies, restarting border wall construction, and designating international cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.
Trump also plans to abolish birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants, end refugee resettlement and create an expedited removal process that would deny asylum claims, officials told reporters.
Officials said at a press conference that President Trump clarified the language of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, saying the federal government “does not grant automatic birthright citizenship to the children of illegal aliens born in the United States.” He said he would sign the order.
