NBA star Dwyane Wade and trans ‘daughter’ create ‘online community’ for grooming children

NBA champion Dwyane Wade and his sons-turned-daughters are launching a new program called “Translatable” to help children adapt to the transgender lifestyle.

The program takes the form of a new online community designed to support transgender children and their families.

“Translatable aims to be a safe space in the community for young people to express themselves through various creative outlets. Here at Translatable, we focus on communities of color, center the most marginalized, and highlight the importance of parents and family,” Wade’s “daughter” says in a promotional video as Wade stands behind him.

“Translatable is also a resource hub for parents, families, and support systems of LGBTQIA+ youth. Our family has been fortunate to have a community of advocates and knowledgeable professionals who were ready to give us the tools we needed to support Zaya on her journey,” Wade said in response to her “daughter’s” message.

Shemeka Michelle believes Wade’s actions should be talked about, and not portrayed in the positive light that is being shown in the mainstream media.

“This website is aimed at young people,” Michelle says, “and I don’t understand why they would force this on young people. You can’t drive until you’re 16, you can’t vote until you’re 18, you can’t smoke until you’re 21, you can’t drink until you’re 21.”

“Why are we making our children make such big decisions at such a young age?” she asked, noting that Wade had his son decide he was a girl when he was just 12.

Jason Whitlock agrees.

“That video really hurt me,” Whitlock said. “Why are we having athletes and so-called masculine heroes leading this delusion? It just makes me angry.”
