Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly announced in a closed-door meeting that fighting in Gaza would continue despite the ceasefire agreement with Hamas. Jewish News Syndicate.

“If there is an agreement, and I hope there will be, Israel will then return to fighting. The resumption of fighting is aimed at achieving the objectives of the war, so it is difficult to obfuscate or hide this. There is no reason to do so. This is not a deal breaker. It is an encouragement to people,” the news agency quoted the prime minister as saying.
