When specific groups are already experiencing a significant rise in violence against them, and a large multinational corporation exploits its influence to misrepresent that group with lies 93 percent of the time, that’s concerning. It’s a real problem, and it feels like that’s what CBS, NBC, and ABC are doing.
Just a quick note: I don’t want to hear any more claims about how CBS has changed. From the start, whether CBS is willing to challenge mainstream narratives on critical issues will indicate if they’ve truly transformed. So, I hope this clarifies things.
The Media Research Center conducted a thorough examination of how the situation in Minneapolis was reported on ABC, CBS, and NBC from January 7 to January 17, 2026. They found that a total of 121 minutes and 26 seconds of coverage was dedicated to this issue, with a staggering 93 percent presenting negative views on federal immigration officials.
This is alarming.
Back in 1989, a “fatwa” was issued against Salman Rushdie by Iran’s then-supreme leader, calling on Muslims to kill him. It’s a serious term, and it paints a certain picture.
What we see here is a media organization effectively issuing fatwas against ICE. This is how the media enables the left to promote violence against ICE: through misleading narratives and omissions.
Shockingly, just 1.6% of the reports related to Minneapolis mentioned the crimes committed by illegal aliens that ICE was attempting to address.
And this is CBS claiming to be “reformed.” They didn’t even mention that Nicole Goode deliberately hit agent Jonathan Ross with her vehicle before shooting him.
At least ABC and NBC acknowledged the truth about the incident involving the woman who tried to run over the ICE officer, but they only did so once. Still, it feels like the “reformed” CBS hasn’t fully changed.
And, speaking of “reformed” CBS…
“DHS released a video showing the moments leading up to Renee Goode’s murder,” CBS Reporter Nicole Sganga reported. “She and others can be heard honking their horns. Officials from the Trump administration claim she aimed to ram an ICE officer before being shot.”
This kind of media is spreading misinformation intentionally, promoting violence against ICE agents.
- They operate without issue all across the nation.
- They’re enforcing federal law.
- They are pressured to make arrests in the streets by the Minnesota Democratic Party, which has refused to hand over illegal offenders like rapists, murderers, and drug dealers.
The media appears to be against all decent people.
If it’s 93 percent negative on a news network, I can only imagine how much worse it could be on CNN or MSNBC.
