New files from House Oversight Committee include Bill Clinton's letter in Epstein's 'birthday book'

New Jeffrey Epstein Documents Unveiled by House Oversight Committee

On Monday night, the House Oversight Committee disclosed a new set of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. This batch includes a message from former President Bill Clinton found in Epstein’s “Birthday Book.”

The unexpected release by the Republican-led committee came shortly after Epstein’s estate provided the documents to House investigators, following a congressional subpoena.

Among the materials was a book reportedly edited by Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of Epstein.

One entry attributed to Clinton reflects on Epstein’s “childlike curiosity” and his “willingness to make a difference,” though the rest of the wording is difficult to decipher.

Additionally, the book reportedly contains entries from Epstein’s former attorneys and Donald Trump, but both Trump and the White House have adamantly denied any truth to this.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt reiterated, “As I’ve said, President Trump didn’t paint this picture, nor did he sign it. The legal team will continue pursuing lawsuits.” This comment was particularly in response to a Wall Street Journal article mentioning Trump’s alleged involvement.

Fox News Digital has reached out for a statement from Clinton’s office.

Clinton’s ties to Epstein are well-known; he has traveled on Epstein’s planes multiple times.

However, neither Clinton nor Trump has faced accusations of wrongdoing tied to Epstein.

Included in the birthday book was a sentimental letter from Epstein’s mother, Pauline Strovsky Epstein. She reminisced about their childhood, recalling, “Jeff, you’ve been a good son since day one, and we are proud of you,” along with other personal anecdotes.

Among other entries, she noted his early achievements and mentioned a time when he stubbornly refused to sleep as a child.

The birthday book also showcases Epstein holding a large fake check for $22,500.

Beneath this photo, there’s a humorous entry about Epstein’s early talents and transactions, some of which seem somewhat exaggerated.

The book features hundreds of photographs, displaying various points from Epstein’s life, including him with friends and even some provocative images.

One photo features a woman in a bikini, with a light-hearted caption about wanting privacy.

Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, addressed inquiries regarding Trump’s reference in the book.

One entry attributed to Alan Dershowitz seems to hint at a joke about Epstein being an asset for US intelligence, saying, “I think he works for the CIA.”

In another context, a document outlines Epstein’s last will along with a contact book and details regarding a non-prosecution agreement from 2007-2008 with the US Attorney’s office in South Florida.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer criticized Democrats for selectively releasing information and emphasized that Trump has not been implicated in wrongdoing.

Comer stated, “The Democrats appear to be more focused on political advantage than on the actual survivors of Epstein’s crimes.” He also indicated that further investigations into Epstein’s financial records would continue.

This release is intended to precede testimony from former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, though that session has been postponed for further negotiations.
