New Hampshire day care workers sprinkled melatonin in children’s food

The owner and three employees of a New Hampshire day care are accused of sprinkling melatonin into the meals of the children in their care.

Sally Dreckman, 52, day care owner. and her employee Tracy Inney, 51. Caitlin Filardo, 23 years old. Jessica Foster, 23, of Manchester, was charged with 10 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to Manchester Police.

Officials said melatonin was sprinkled onto children’s meals served by the company’s in-house child care center without their parents’ knowledge or consent.
