Democrats may be asking themselves that President Trump's first speech to Congress was a disaster, but that's not what the polls say.
According to a CBS/YouGov poll, 76% of viewers approved Trump's speech.
” Speaking of the president, he handed me a note while I was standing here. He wanted me to keep this. This is the poll I cited, a CBS/Yougov poll showing that 76% of people who saw the president's speech last night approved his speech.”
“So I'm heading towards my previous point about how incredibly sad it is to have a modern Democrat who hasn't had any serious contact with the American public,” Leavitt added.

In the same poll, 63% of viewers feel they spend a lot of time on issues Trump cares about, while 68% say their speeches gave them a sense of “hope.” Only 20% of respondents said they felt “angried” or “anxious” in their speech.
The majority of viewers preferred President Trump's plans on Ukraine, immigration, wasteful spending and tariffs, and approved the decision to remove Texas Rep. Al Green (D) because 76% suspended their speech.

Blaze News Politics Reporter Rebeka Zeljko could not agree any further.
“You saw all the Republicans really united behind the president and cheering him on. Of course you also saw Democrats protesting almost everything he had to say, but aside from that, receptions across America have been very positive,” Zeliko tells Savage.
“An audience who saw last night's speech was overwhelmingly positive about the speech, and then in your point, it feels like America is in this golden age,” she adds.
