Go Big or Go Home for America 250
As we commemorate the 250th anniversary of our nation this weekend, various hotels, restaurants, and nightlife venues are stepping up their game to showcase the pride we feel about being American.
This year, Independence Day is offering even more celebrations, including a premium ticketed experience designed for a select 250 Americans. While Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks display is traditionally free and open to all, a prominent hospitality group is seizing the opportunity to provide a luxury experience that extends the festivities late into the night, and sometimes even into the early morning.
With prices ranging from $125 for a high-altitude dinner to poolside cocktails with views of the East River, and even $10,000 for a private VIP table, the Post has compiled a list of the most exciting Fourth of July events in New York to help you celebrate the Star-Spangled Banner in style.
Good news: tickets are still up for grabs!
Sky-High Celebration: The Edge x Marquee Skydeck
If you’re a New Yorker who wants to escape the crowded waterfront scene, consider celebrating the Fourth at The Edge, the highest outdoor skydeck in the Western Hemisphere, standing 1,100 feet high.
The ticketed event kicks off at 7:30 p.m., featuring a view of the fireworks, endless cocktails, upbeat music, and a VIP experience.
In addition to the outdoor viewing, ticket holders can explore seven new immersive indoor installations inspired by New York City, offering 360-degree skyline views and thrilling glass floor experiences. The festivities will last late into the night, with an afterparty at the Marquee Skydeck, complete with a DJ and a lively atmosphere until 3 a.m.
General admission starts at $230, with VIP tickets beginning at $305. Afterparty tickets at Marquee Skydeck range from $85 to $105, drinks not included.
Grand Celebration at Westlight Club, William Vale Hotel
Westlight, located atop the Boogie William Vale Hotel in Williamsburg, is gearing up for a grand Fourth of July bash featuring producer and DJ Murda Beatz as the headline act.
Guests can expect VIP benefits such as a private viewing terrace, backstage access, and cabanas while listening to live music, enjoying premium street food, and sipping cocktails—all while gazing at the Manhattan skyline and catching the fireworks show.
General admission tickets are about $108, while the VIP experience on the 22nd floor (which includes a three-hour open bar and unlimited food) starts at $375. Reserved VIP tables range from $2,000 to $3,000, and private rooftop cabanas are available for groups starting at $5,000.
Unparalleled Views at Harriet’s Rooftop, The 1 Hotel Brooklyn
Harriet’s Rooftop at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge offers one of the closest views to the fireworks on the East River.
This adults-only bash features five hours of customizable dining options, a premium open bar, and live DJ sets from Zoe Vie and Malik Lind starting at 5 p.m.
General admission is priced at $661, but for those willing to splurge, indoor lounge tables start at $3,000, rooftop tables at $5,000, and private poolside packages for $8,000.
Rooftop Soiree at The Rockaway Hotel
Celebrate Independence Day while enjoying the ocean breeze at The Rockaway Hotel’s expansive rooftop, which overlooks both the Manhattan skyline and Jamaica Bay.
Starting at 6 p.m., attendees can indulge in sophisticated drinks and classic American fare, such as barbecue and deli-style options.
Tickets cost $150 for guests 21 and over, while those under 21 pay $60. A private group experience for up to five people on the Bayside Terrace is available for $750.
Grand Banks
If you’re not into rooftop vibes, consider celebrating at Grand Banks, a unique venue located on the historic schooner Sherman Zwicker at Hudson River Pier 25. They offer oysters, seafood, cocktails, and excellent views of the fireworks above the Hudson River.
Reservations are priced starting at $500 for a seat at the cocktail bar or oyster bar, $1,000 for a table for two, and up to $10,000 for a captain’s table accommodating up to 16 guests.
Four-Course Meal with Panoramic Views: Peak with Priceless Restaurant & Bar
For those looking to enjoy a fancy dinner during the fireworks, head to Peak with Priceless Restaurant & Bar on the 101st floor of Hudson Yards.
This location promises a memorable Fourth of July experience with sweeping city views and a four-course prix fixe menu in a spacious setting elevated over 1,200 feet.
Early seating is available from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for $125 per person, while prime seating during fireworks hours costs $425 per person.
Special Rooftop Party at Public Hotel
Another downtown hotspot, Ian Schrager’s Public Hotel on Chrystie Street, is hosting exclusive Fourth of July parties with limited access to guests and reserved table seating on the 17th floor outdoor terrace, offering stunning 360-degree views of the fireworks.
Guests can enjoy DJ sets and signature cocktails, along with a barbecue-inspired menu featuring smoked brisket sliders, tuna corn, street corn bowls, and other summer favorites.
