Nicola Peltz Cleans Up Her Instagram as Family Ties Fade
As 2026 unfolds, Nicola Peltz has taken significant steps to streamline her Instagram presence.
The “Bates Motel” actress has removed all mentions of her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s estranged family from her Instagram account, including a heartfelt birthday message aimed at Victoria Beckham.
Peltz shared a throwback photo of herself with the fashion designer, celebrating her 50th birthday in 2024.
In the now-deleted post, she wrote, “Happy birthday to my beautiful Mil. [mother-in-law] Victoria Beckham.” She also expressed her sentiments: “I love you so much and I want to be your dance partner forever.”
Victoria, now 51, responded in the comments, showering her with affection: “I love you so much!!!!! xxxxxxx kiss xxxxxxx.”
This gesture, however, seems to contrast sharply with Peltz’s recent actions, which are raising eyebrows. Just days ago, Brooklyn, 26, expressed his desire for a more distanced relationship with his famous parents. He insisted they should only communicate through their lawyers and asked that they stop addressing him publicly on social media, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn made these requests after he was upset by a comment implying that Peltz had some sort of control over him, likening him to a “hostage.” A source mentioned that their law firm, “The Schillings,” became the designated point of contact for communications.
The tensions between Brooklyn, Peltz, and the Beckham family reignited last April when reports emerged regarding issues between Peltz and Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend. This discord was further highlighted when Brooklyn and Peltz opted out of attending David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in May 2025.
Adding to the complications, Brooklyn recently blocked his family on Instagram, further signifying a shift in their relationship.
Given the circumstances, it is unclear what the future holds for Brooklyn and his family, as sources indicate he currently has little interest in mending those ties.
