Nikki Haley Loses to ‘None of These Candidates’ in Nevada Primary

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley lost the Nevada Republican primary to “None of These Candidates,” dealing a humiliating blow to her electoral prospects.

“None of these candidates” received 62.9 percent of the vote, compared to Haley’s 30.8 percent. Two other prominent candidates on the ballot, former Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Tim Scott (R-South Carolina), are no longer in the race.

The Nevada Republican Party refrains from participating in state-sponsored primaries, and former President Donald Trump did not participate in the primary because there are no state delegates to bind the results.

Instead, the Nevada Republican Party will hold a statewide caucus on Thursday, with delegates expected to be bound by the results. explained By Decision Desk Headquarters.

Candidates who participated in Tuesday’s primary are not eligible to participate in Thursday’s primary, so Haley will not be on Thursday’s ballot and will not be eligible to win any state delegates. Republican voters can vote in both primaries and caucuses.

Tuesday’s primary was a humiliating blow for Haley. Haley is the only Republican presidential candidate still in the race on the ballot, as he was unable to muster enough support to defeat “none of these candidates.”
