The two have been married for about 30 years and have two children, Lena and Nalin.

Haley credits her husband Michael with her conversion to Christianity, calling him “my rock” after a ceremony at the Citadel in 2023.
Michael Haley has served in the South Carolina Army National Guard since 2006 and holds the rank of Major. He previously deployed to Afghanistan and recently returned from the Horn of Africa.
