Keith Caputo, lead singer of the alternative metal band Life of Agony, has announced that he is in the process of transitioning after living as a woman named “Mina” for several years.
In a recent social media video, Keith Caputo declared he had a newfound sense of freedom while detailing the process behind his detransition, which included getting rid of his fake breasts.
He also warned parents against having their children undergo transgender surgery, saying: “No drugs, no hormones, no irreversible surgeries.”
“It's like a honey lamb, I'm a man, I've always been a man. You just aren't used to hearing real people talk. You're not used to people lying about their identities. ” he said.
Caputo said the detransition process will be completed next year. “Yes, I have been off hormones for six or seven years now, but I have surgery scheduled to remove my fake breasts in January 2025, and I am lovingly in my divine masculine self.'' I intend to live.”
“We will be fully physically de-transitioned in 2025. I can't wait. I feel so free,” he said, later adding, “I'm so proud of myself. Masu.”
“I've been through a lot over the years. I don't want my biggest enemy to be gender dysphoria. This is one of the most unpleasant things I've ever experienced in my life.” That’s one thing, but I’m really glad it’s over.”
Later in the video, Caputo denounced the epidemic of parents allowing or forcing their children to undergo irreversible transgender procedures, including hormone therapy and even surgery.
“So, parents, think about it,” he said, adding, “Now imagine taking your little ones and implementing this irreversible change into their lives.” .
He said parents should allow their children to play as a different gender if they wish, but there should be a line in the sand.
“No drugs, no hormones, no irreversible surgery,” he said.
