If you look at the Instagram post above (which includes a confirmation in the comments: “(Not April Fools, I promise!)”), Balfe and Heughan started the video and the first week was ” You can see that they described it as “It was fun” and “It was refreshing.” ”, thankfully the new cast members are still under lock and key.
“You know what else?” Balfe says. “We have some older cast members.”
“Really?” Heughan asks.
“Hmm,” Balfe replies. “Should I say ‘hello’ to them?”
The camera then pans to show Lauren Lyle and Cesar Domboy clapping their hands before saying hello.
“I thought I kicked you out,” Heughan teased. “We kicked you out!”
“Where did you go?” Balfe asks in a sing-song voice. “Where Was Everyone?” (Britbox fans will know that Lyle is in at least the next movie. Karen Pirie. )
“When I touched the stone, it came back again,” Domboy says, referring to the show’s famous magical time portal stone.
However, Lyle also has a cliché. “I heard you say, ‘older cast,'” Heughan and Balfe teased about how much time has passed since the show debuted nearly a decade ago.
