Gov. Kathy Hochul, Dn.Y. says federal workers have been fired President Donald Trump Management working for her.
“New York has 7,000 openings and we value public services,” Hochul told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Monday in the situation room. “The civil servants take care of our people. That's what it's all about. So ride it, we'll hire you.”
Approximately 25,000 Federal workers have lifted or concluded administrative leave, which is likely to be fired immediately. The Trump administration also estimates that 75,000 employees have accepted the postponed acquisition.

Federal workers at the agency have been receiving emails from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) since last week, requesting that they list five achievements.
This week's email asks employees to reply to this email saying, “About five places to explain what you achieved last week and a manager in CC.”
Answers are required by 11:59 pm. On Monday and those working on sensitive or classified information will be asked to specify that their activities are sensitive.
“It's absolutely devastating,” Hochur said. “You know, some people are on the verge of tears. I brought together about 10 people who were suddenly abandoned. On Valentine's Day, we made sure that people who worked to combat consumer fraud, large businesses trying to avoid taxes, people who are looking after veterans, people who are keeping us safe.

Hochul continues to praise federal workers for their “very valuable” work, saying New York will hire them.
