Angry New York parents took over a school board meeting this week. They demanded that they know why their elementary school students were exposed to “LGBTQIA+” books, which include depictions of naked people and bondage enthusiasts.
A crowd of animated parents gathered in a Monroe County auditorium on Tuesday to see young children accessing the book “Rainbow Parade: LGBTQIA+ Identity and Alliance Celebrations” on supervisors and Penfield's education committee He expressed his concerns at the meeting.
The controversial book tells the story of a young girl taking part in an LGBT parade and her two mothers, following a child exploring “gender identity.” The lesson of a children's book, according to the description, is to “decompose stereotypes and embrace diversity.”
“Rainbow Parade” includes depictions of a gay couple wearing naked people, fur, leather and BDSM (bondage/domination/sadomazochism) outfits shown from behind.
