The judge overseeing former President Trump’s New York criminal trial notified the defense team on Friday about comments posted on the court’s public Facebook page that suggested one juror had discussed a guilty verdict with family members before the end of the trial.
Fox News obtained the letter that Judge Juan Marchand gave to Trump’s legal team and Manhattan prosecutors.

“Today, the Court became aware of a comment posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and is bringing this comment to everyone’s attention. In the comment, user “Michael Anderson” stated:
“My cousin is on the jury and says Trump will be found guilty! Thank you for all your hard work!!!”

The comment was posted on May 29th “in regard to oral argument before the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, which is unrelated to this case.”
There is very little public information on the “Michael Anderson” profile, but the user describes himself as a “Transable & professional sh– poster.”

A Trump campaign official told Fox News Digital that the campaign is “looking into this matter.”
“Once the court learned of this online content, it notified the parties accordingly,” state OCA spokesman Al Baker said Friday.

The post was made the day before Trump was to be sentenced on all 34 counts of first-degree falsifying business records. Trump had pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The six-week trial began with charges brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
